An Unforgettable Journey Through Quora Connections: My Encounter with Blogs and Academia

My journey through Quora began with a simple intention: to connect with like-minded individuals. However, it turned into a serendipitous adventure filled with meaningful encounters and new friendships. Let me share a few of the incredible people I met through this platform and an exciting trip I took to Delhi to meet some of them.

Special Connections Through Quora

Among all my favorites, some stand out as particularly special and memorable:

Hailey Washington Dad. Hannah B. Alexis Chase Unseelie One Chloe Carpenter Shenn Lynn (although I couldn't tag her)

Meeting these folks through Quora added an unprecedented level of personal connection to my online interactions. I felt genuinely grateful for the opportunity to interact with people who shared similar interests and life experiences.

A Solo Adventure: Solo Trip to Delhi

I recently drafted a 12-day travel itinerary for a solo trip to Delhi. This trip wasn’t planned with the usual expectations and constraints, including the unexpected absence of senior parental approval for itineraries during a crucial exam period.

My perspective was:

Hey boss, exams are over. Delhi is ONN! Delhi, my life! It’s all about love, friendship, and excitement. I am finally going to meet some of my Quora friends in real life!

My passion for traveling led me to explore various video blogging platforms, and I created a channel named “MBBS With Praveen” where I share my journey through academia and solo adventures.

Meetings and Memories in Delhi

When I arrived in Delhi, Dr. Akanksha Maurya was thrilled to meet me, and we planned a day of hangouts, exploring cafes and street food in Delhi and Indore. Akanksha introduced me to her friend, Dr. Akshit Gupta, who stole my heart with his academic discussions over amazing momos.

Here are some highlights of my time with Dr. Akshit Gupta:

Academic discussions with interesting momos Sir's cute trick to steal my chocolate Love for cola crackers and bites Guided campus tour of AIIMS Delhi Enjoying the view from VMMC terrace garden Breaking traffic rules to see the sperm park

These experiences were unforgettable, and the highlight of my trip was the campus tour of the Lady Hardinge Medical College. Along the way, I also met other incredible individuals such as:

Dr. Eashan Aneja Dr. Akshit Gupta Bhavik Bansal Adeeb Ur Rahman Deepti Dhillon Harsh Vardhan Bhagya Sri Kandrap Kumar Awasthi

Meeting these friends during events like the Honey Singh Concert, Med-Intellectuals Lite Quiz, and Sanam Concerts were heartwarming experiences. Even without many photos, the memories last a lifetime, and I am looking forward to meeting more of these lovely people and perhaps making new ones in the future.

Reflecting on the Experience

Overall, my time at PULSE 22 was a great experience. It was a unique opportunity to meet and engage with a diverse group of individuals who share my passion for learning and growing. I am deeply grateful for these connections and the memories we’ve created.

Conclusion

Quora has opened up a world of opportunities for me to connect with others, and my time in Delhi served as a perfect reminder of the power of these connections. Thank you for reading, and here’s to more adventures and meaningful encounters.

Warm Regards,
Anurag Singh
