How to Separate Messenger from Facebook Lite

To separate Messenger from Facebook Lite, you need to utilize the Messenger app independently. Here are the steps to do that:

Download Messenger

If you haven't already, download the Messenger app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. This ensures you have access to the standalone app, which is crucial for keeping your Messenger and Facebook Lite accounts separate.

Log In with Your Facebook Credentials

Open the Messenger app and log in with your Facebook credentials. This step is essential as it links your Messenger account to your Facebook profile but keeps it separate from Facebook Lite. You can now send and receive messages without needing to use Facebook Lite.

Uninstall Facebook Lite (Optional)

If you want to completely separate the two apps, you can uninstall Facebook Lite from your device. This step ensures that the Facebook Lite app is no longer on your phone. However, be aware that this won’t affect your Messenger app, as it operates independently once it is installed.

Adjust Notifications (for Separate Use)

To manage notifications separately, you can adjust them in the settings of each app. Messenger and Facebook Lite each have their own notification settings, providing you with more control over which app's notifications to receive and when.

By following these steps, you can use Messenger separately from Facebook Lite, gaining the benefits of streamlined communication without the clutter of the larger app.

From Emergency Room to Life Reflection

I was on duty in the emergency room of a famous hospital in Dhaka when a two-and-a-half-year-old girl was brought in, along with her parents. The girl was very beautiful, like a fairytale princess. I asked the girl's father a series of probing questions about the child's health.

I asked, 'What has been troubling her?' The father handed me some papers. It was written there that the child had been suffering from a frequent fever, cough, and general body pain for two months. They had been directed to a doctor in Chittagong, who initially thought it was just a regular fever. However, the child was not improving, and after a lengthy consultation with a city doctor, they were quickly referred to Dhaka.

When I looked at the child's investigation report, it was clearly marked 'Suggestive_of_Acute_Lymphoblastic_Leukemia,' an incredibly serious diagnosis. The girl's father repeated the information, adding that the baby had been holding my hand the entire time I was writing the admission order, tears in her eyes. Despite the miraculous nature of her request, I felt a deep sense of sadness and a fervent wish for a positive outcome.

The following night, I woke up from a dream where a baby girl was holding my hand, shaking it, and saying, 'We are so restless, always running day and night to achieve the pinnacle of money, wealth, fashion, glamor, fame, career, and success. What is the benefit of all this? This is our life, all our struggles are for this. Is it possible for anything in the world to soothe the sadness of this family today? What if you don’t have a lot of money? What if you don’t have a good home to stay in? What will happen if you don’t reach the top of success by improving your profession and working tirelessly? Returning home at the end of the day with all the peace, when there is no certainty in the life of someone very close to you. This child, even at her tender age, doesn’t even have the ability to hold a smile on her face when her parents are away. What is the point of chasing after us...'

The mood was very dim. I strolled out of the emergency room and looked at the dark skies for a long time. I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of empathy and sympathy for the little girl and her family. In the end, the only wish I could genuinely make was for her to get better and for something unusual to happen in this world.

Let the baby girl get better. Let something unusual happen in this world.
