The vibrant cultural scene in Al Ain is marked by a variety of workshops and educational activities, particularly aimed at school students. From June 23rd, several workshops at Qasr Al Muwaiji are set to engage primary and intermediate level students. These workshops not only enhance artistic skills but also deepen cultural knowledge.

In-Depth Workshops at Qasr Al Muwaiji

Primary level students at Qasr Al Muwaiji will participate in two main sessions: Colour Printing and the Educational Box. These sessions are designed to foster creativity and cultural awareness among young participants. For intermediate level students, a more diverse range of activities will be available, including:

Role of Department of Culture and Tourism

The Department of Culture and Tourism plays a pivotal role in conserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Abu Dhabi. Their efforts are aimed at leveraging cultural assets to develop a world-class, sustainable destination that enriches the lives of visitors and residents alike.

The department manages the emirate's tourism sector and markets Abu Dhabi internationally through a wide range of activities, including attracting visitors and investment. Their strategic plans and programs focus on preserving and promoting heritage and culture, including the conservation of archaeological and historical sites and the development of prestigious museums such as Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Zayed National Museum, and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.

“They are the front-line ambassadors for Abu Dhabi, showcasing our rich history and heritage, and opening up the treasure chest of our culture to an international audience keen to know more about our history and heritage, as well as the newer attractions we have added to our extraordinary destination,” said a notable figure in the Department of Culture and Tourism.
